Independence flagpoles are built with a custom stainless steel gearless "winch" system.  The winch is mounted on a rotating platform for ease of maintenance and to eliminate the winch handle hole in the side of the shaft.  The winch is accessible only through the keyed, cast aluminum door with a handle access hole.  The heavy cast door frame is welded inside the shaft opening for strength.  The Independence flagpole comes with a stainless steel cable. This flagpole is tough and made to last a very long time.  The features make this the nicest flagpole we offer.  It comes with everything you need including a revolving truck (prevents flag from tangling), gold anodized aluminum ball, counterweight, retainer ring, flag arrangement, SS flag snaps, flash collar and galvanized steel ground sleeve. The standard finish is satin.  We also have anodized and powder coat available for an additional charge. The SP winch option (as used on the Extreme Internal) may be selected for a reduced cost (-$250).
